Bacillus thuringiensis var. israelensis (Bti)
Product
Bacillus thuringiensis var. israelensis (Bti) is the highly-recommended bio-pesticide for killing mosquito larvae by WHO, due to its high selectivity to kill mosquito, no toxicity to non-target organisms, animals and humans, no pollution to environment since it is easy to degrade. The product has good effect of killing larvae of Anopheles, Culex, Mansoia, Psorophora, Aedes, Simulium, so as to control the density of mosquitoes and reduce the disease broadcast.
Crops and pests
The product is a fastly-efficient bio-pesticide for killing larvae of Anopheles, Culex, Mansoia, Psorophora, Aedes, Simulium. Larvae of age 1~3 will be effectively killed after 48 hour ingestion.
Based on water type, pH value and vegetation condition, the dosage is 0.5~1 g/square meters after diluted 30 times by spraying directly on the water surface. The interval of usage is 30~60 days.
Precautions:
1, The product shall be stored in cool place with good air conditions. Avoid direct sunlight. DO NOT spray directly onto human and food.
2, The product has low toxicity. Wear protective clothing when spraying to avoid direct exposure to the product. Do not drink contaminated drink water.
3, Discarded package shall be deeply buried and shall NOT be used for other purposes or thrown away at will.
First aid measures
The product has low toxicity without any special antidote and can be treated symptomaticly. If accidentally take the product, the people shall be immediately induced to vomit and brought to the hospital together with the labels. Rinse with large amount of clear water if accidentally exposed to eye or skin.
Storage and handling
The product shall be stored in dry, cool warehouse with good air conditioning. Keep away from fire or heat. The product shall be kept in a place unreachable by the children and locked. Shall not be stored and handled together with food, seed, drink, feed and flammable and explosive products. Handle gently during the transportation and do not squeeze.
